Chilly Running

Here is a picture of me from my run last weekend. At about mile 24, I kept telling myself that I was going to take a picture when I was finished, and that somehow all the suffering would to be worth it once the picture was snapped. For some puzzling reason, it pumped me up to know that I'd have a picture of myself. Oh my, the crazy things the brain starts to spit out after a long run. I believe I was in some kind of delirous state, because I could care less about having a picture of myself! Ha ha ha.

It's a bizzarre temprature for running down here in Florida. When I wake up and hit the road at 4:00am, it's freezing. But then the Florida sun begins to heat things up after a couple hours and I find myself over dressed. However, I shouldn't complain, it is a LOT nicer than running in the dead summer. I can run during the middle of the day during November. If I were to run in the middle of the day during July, I'd probably wake up with an IV in my arm in an ice bath in ICU.
