Endurance Jelly Recipe

I have been experiementing, and reading about endurance gel recipes. It can get expensive paying for 4 gel packs every weekend run. So I have found something that has worked well for me lately. This is the uncomplicated recipe I have been using. BAREFOOT ENDURANCE JELLY
8 TBSP of Strawberry Jelly
4 TBSP of Water
2 TBSP of Sugar
1/2 tsp - 3/4 tsp of Salt
1/8 tsp of Citric Acid
Mix jelly and water in bowl with a fork to make into smooth syrup-like mix. Add sugar, salt, and citric acid (usually found in the canning aisle of the grocery store). Pour mix through funnel into gel flask and take a squirt every 45 minutes.
Pretty easy. Tastes good, and does just as well as some of the products on the market. I am not going to say it is as good as Hammer gel, or Cytomax. But I will say that it is every bit as good as Powerbar gel that I have used.
